ENECA Group has become a member of the World Organisation for Safety and Health in Buildings (WOSHIE)

In June 2020, the ENECA Group became a member of the World Organisation for Safety and Health in Indoor Environments (WOSHIE).

This organisation was created to disseminate and promote international experience in protecting indoor health. The relevance of this topic has become particularly acute due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic. It has become clear to everyone that our society is poorly protected from such threats.

Membership in WOSHIE enables ENECA specialists to analyse buildings for various purposes (offices, shopping centres, hotels, etc.), to develop recommendations to improve the safety of premises for human health and, after implementation of the recommendations, to carry out certification in accordance with WOSHIE standards.

We know that achieving 100% virus protection is impossible, or at least very difficult and expensive. However, we can help to provide the best possible protection for these premises at an acceptable complexity and cost. This is important not only on people, but also for the ability to carry out activities in these premises, to produce services or goods. This is why we believe that the dissemination and promotion of virus prevention measures is paramount, not only at the individual level, but also for the economy as a whole, whether at an organisational, national, regional or city level. This will help to avoid overburdening health systems.

The WOSHIE certification system establishes different levels of building security depending on the measures taken. The division of certification levels is adopted so that employees and visitors understand which building is safer for them and decide on their visit as well as on additional individual protection measures.

For all interested parties, the ENECA group of companies offers services for analysing buildings, making recommendations to improve safety, as well as subsequent certification with the issuance of an international WOSHIE certificate.
